Autumn 2017 Roadshows

The autumn series of the Roadshows has been planned for the following dates and venues:

These events will be a mixture of industry talks and demonstrations. There will be representatives from CRU, NSAI and ESB, who will be available to answer any related questions.

The roadshows will also have a number of stands with associated industry suppliers, exhibiting and demonstrating their latest products.

We will have a number of ‘Test Rigs’ on display. These will be manned by Safe Electric inspectors who will demonstrate Pre and Post Connection Tests throughout the evening.

These Roadshows are aimed at helping electrical contractors get to grips with a range of technical topics.

Topics covered in the seminar talks will include:

  • 2017 Building Regulations – Residential Fire Alarms
  • Controlled works
  • Understanding Insulation Resistance Testing
  • Understanding measurement of Protective Conductors
  • Understanding Earth Loop Impedance
  • Completing Test Record Sheets
  • Completing a Certificate
  • ET101 National Wiring Rule clarification
  • Question and Answer sessions

Exhibitions and Testing demonstrations will run from 5:00pm showing Pre and Post Connection Test procedures.

The first talk will start at 6.00pm sharp.

Please note there is no requirement to book for these Roadshow evenings and there is no charge.

Safe Electric will present you with over 3 hours of technical content and complimentary refreshments (tea, coffee and biscuits). Alongside the technical seminars you will have the chance to meet leading industry representatives, manufacturers and suppliers.

Your local Inspector will also be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
