The CER has today, 27 June 2017, published its proposed decision on the approval of charges by Safe Electric. The CER proposes to grant approval to Safe Electric to impose direct inspection charges, at the discretion of the Safe Electric Chief Inspector, on RECs that require higher levels of monitoring as already provided for in Section B 3.2.6 of the Electrical Safety Supervisory Criteria Document (CER/16/001). Following consideration of all responses received to this consultation, the CER expects to publish a Final Decision paper in Quarter 4 of 2017.
