In accordance with Clause 2.1.4 of Common Procedure 5 of the Electric Criteria Document we would like to notify all RECs that in the interest of public safety and for improved document control Safe Electric will be adhering to a zero-tolerance policy for the validation of completion certificates. All certificates received or processed after 5th July 2021 which are incomplete, illegible, or incorrect will be deemed invalid and marked as such. The Registered Electrical Contractor will be notified by email that the certificate has been deemed invalid and the REC will be required to issue a replacement certificate.
