Following the guidelines introduced in the government Return to Work Roadmap, Safe Electric are currently in the process of resuming normal operations. As part of this resumption process, from close of business on Friday the 12th of June, we will no longer be processing copies of completion certificates by email. Papers certificates will be accepted as normal. Can all RECs who have not submitted their original paper certificates for matching with their previously emailed ones, please do so ASAP. We are currently exploring various mechanisms to improve the time it takes for certs to be delivered to Safe Electric offices.
Safe Electric Inspectors have also commenced normal inspections. Prior to an inspection, RECs will be required to complete a Covid-19 specific risk-assessment. Inspectors will be complying with all HSA recommendations and will wear the required PPE. In order to get our annual inspection programme back on track, we ask that all RECs fully cooperate with inspectors when scheduling inspections.
